The Building of Hope will make an extraordinary difference to the lives of regional families relocating to Melbourne for lifesaving treatment.

The Leukaemia Foundation’s Victorian Patient Accommodation Centre was officially opened by the Minister for Health, Hon Jill Hennessy on Wednesday, revealing 15 new apartments for regional families required to relocate to Melbourne for blood cancer treatment.

The 2016/17 Victorian Budget will provide $500,000 to support the Leukaemia Foundation to finalise its patient accommodation centre in Flemington called Building of Hope.
